Today’s Action: The Last Weekend is HERE – have you signed up?

The last weekend before midterms is finally here, and with it, our single best chance to alter the course of Trump’s agenda. The House has 84 competitive seats, and we only need to win 23 of them to take the majority. In the Senate, we must gain two seats. And, we need Democratic victories at the state level to fight insidious GOP voter suppression tactics, which target people of color, the poor, and the elderly, and have led to historic degrees of gerrymandering that favor Republican outcomes.

Study after study shows that the best way to Get Out The Vote is having conversations in the four days leading up to Election Day. Just voting isn’t enough — The Last Weekend is asking us to dedicate as little as three hours today through Tuesday, Nov 6 to talking with fellow voters in nearby swing districts and pushing us through an Election Day victory.

The Last Weekend will guide you to the district and races nearest you that *really* need an extra push from Democrats, maximizing the effectiveness of your time.

If you dislike the direction our country is headed but haven’t volunteered for election season, The Last Weekend is your best chance to put your money where your mouth is.
