Today’s Action: Flip Wisconsin Blue

Since Wisconsin Republicans gained power over the state in 2010, they’ve slashed Democratic voting power, passing some of the harshest and most discriminatory voting restrictions in the nation: over 17,000 voters were blocked from participating in the 2016 presidential election and Trump won the state in an upset victory by just 22,748. On top of that, Democrats have struggled to break free thanks to GOP gerrymandering, called “among the most extreme in U.S. history.”

But despite Republicans’ outrageously unethical moves, Wisconsin Democrats have fought back since 2016, winning several key victories in the #BlueWave. Republican Governor Scott Walker was so frightened by these signs that he refused to hold two special state elections that would likely flip Democrat — but a judge has ordered him to move forward, and the elections will be held on June 12.

And now we, as a nation, need to Get Out The Vote for Wisconsin.

And Wisconsin’s Democratic candidates are worthy of nationwide support. Caleb Frostman is strong voice for working famiies, environmental conservation, and investment in public education. Ann Groves Lloyd is a lifelong advocate of the government working for the people: she supports affordable healthcare, a higher minimum wage, and family leave.

Wisconsin’s most disenfranchised voters have been horribly oppressed by the GOP the past decade. They need our support to flip the state back to a government that’s ACTUALLY representative.
