Today’s Action: Stop GOP Gerrymandering — Textbank or Phonebank for Wisconsin

Wisconsin has some of the worst Republican Gerrymandering in our country. Despite majority-Democratic voters, it continues to elect Republicans thanks to unfairly drawn district lines. For example, last November, Republicans nabbed 63% of State Assembly seats despite losing the popular vote. To be blunt: that’s pretty bad.

This Tuesday, April 2, Wisconsin will hold a general election that includes a seat in the State Supreme Court. Although this vote doesn’t have the visible splash of a federal election, electing a Democratic judge is a vital first step in reversing the gerrymandering when the maps are redrawn in 2021.

Sign up to Textbank or Phonebank Wisconsin Democrats, reminding them to vote in the State Supreme Court election this Tuesday, April 2!

Wisconsin is going to be a hotseat vote in the 2020 presidential election. Empowering Democrats early on is the absolute best thing we can do to help them swing the state blue against Trump’s reelection campaign next year.

Textbanking and phonebanking can be done from the comfort of your own home, with friends (or while watching Friends), and every little bit counts! You’ll be connecting with registered Democrats who are on your side and just need a reminder to Get Out the Vote this Tuesday.

Easy, cheesy.
