Republicans want to remove the vital legislation signed by President Obama after the crash of 2008 – thereby opening our economy back up to the harmful lending practices that caused the Great Recession and devastated the global economy.
It has already passed the Senate – which means we need to flood our Representatives’ phone lines before tomorrow’s vote.
The Dodd-Frank rollback would remove restrictions on any bank smaller than $250 billion — two dozen big banks that collectively took $47 billion in bailout funds in the 2008 crisis.
