It feels unreal. In the early hours of Saturday morning, Senate Republicans shoved through 479 pages of tax giveaways to the already wealthy — much of it written hand-written in the margins by lobbyists — without giving anyone time to read the bill.

Only 25% of Americans support the Trump Tax Scam, which means half of Trump voters don’t even like it. And why would they, with a Senate bill predicted to:

• add $1.5 trillion to the deficit,
• take healthcare from 13 million Americans,
• eviscerate most tax cuts for middle and working class families,
• and give all that money to multinational corporations and millionaires.

This isn’t tax reform, it’s sanctions on America’s working families — the kind usually reserved for enemy nations — and this is our last chance to stop it.
