Oh buddies, election season is HERE! We’ve fought hard through two and a half long years of Trump and his enablers, led by Mitch McConnell. But now, we could not be more excited to go on the offensive for November 2020, putting in the necessary work now for a sweeping Democratic victory next year. .
Our targets? President, obviously. But also a Senate majority and key state races that would help to overturn GOP gerrymandering. And for all these, we need more registered Democrats turning out on election day and more boots on the ground canvassing for key races.

A Democratic victory in the White House and Senate will require all of us doing more than just casting our own vote – we need more voters in key swing states. That’s why SwingLeft is focusing on writing letters to register voters in states like North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
And Republican gerrymandering at the state level affects you considerably, no matter where you live. For example, in 2018, North Carolina Republicans won 50.3% of the popular vote for House seats – but kept control of a disproportionate 10 out of 13 seats (76.9%) in the House of Representatives, stealing three Democratic seats. The state leadership draws the district lines for those seats, but we all feel national results.
Don’t delay and regret your inaction next November. The work has to begin now…and playing with others makes it fun!
