Today’s Action: Election Day 2020! VOTE…AND GET OUT THE VOTE!

There were moments during Donald Trump’s presidency when we thought Election Day 2020 would never arrive. Dark periods when it felt like Mitch McConnell would remain Senate Majority Leader forever.

And then…that burst of glorious sunshine when the 2018 #BlueWave flipped the House and numerous state seats, ushering in a whole new batch of progressive Democratic leaders, and sending a resounding message across the country: we’re ready to win big again in 2020.

And here we are. It’s Election Day 2020. This is our moment to vote Trump out of a second term, flip the Senate blue, and keep the House secure.

If you haven’t voted yet: Today’s the day! Vote or drop-off your ballot in-person. Skip returning ballots by mail to ensure it arrives in time. Find your voting/drop-off location.

If you haven’t registered to vote yet: Same-day in-person voter registration is available TODAY in the following states: Alaska (President/VP vote only), California, Colorado, Connecticut, D.C., Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Utah, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Find your voting/drop-off location, and go vote!

And now…help others do the same! Spend your Election Day logging final volunteer hours to Get Out The Vote!

Text bank for #BlueWave2020: Although phone banking is the more effective type of voter outreach, text banking is also an option! Add the “text bank” filter under TYPE to narrow the search field.

Flip the Senate: You know that Joe and Kamala will need a Democratic majority in the Senate to get the really good work done, from confronting climate change to healthcare restoration to taking back SCOTUS. Can you commit to five calls? Click on the swing state Senate seat you most want to see flipped, and sign up for your phone bank shift!

Mobilize your community: If you prefer the “talk to people I know” approach, join the good folks of Indivisible in taking the pledge to Triple Your Vote.

It’s the final push. Don’t wake up tomorrow wishing you had done more.
