Today’s Action: Tune in for tonight’s Democratic debate

After starting with a historically crowded field, we’re now down to a two-man show: Biden and Sanders. And tonight’s debate is the first to reflect this sharp change in the race.

Biden and Sanders represent an ideological standoff between moderate and progressive in their policy. They’re also showing a distinction between their supporters. The first round of primaries have Biden gathering a strong show of support from voters over 40 and Black voters in the South. Meanwhile, Bernie has collected many voters under 40 and Latino voters in the West.

While Biden has emerged as the new frontrunner, Sanders still has a path to victory, making tonight’s debate crucial for both candidates… Sanders in staying in, Biden in locking it in.

Tune in for tonight’s Democratic debate live on CNN or Univision, or and at 8 pm EST / 5 pm PST.

This is a critical time for our nation, unlike anything we’ve ever experienced in our lifetimes as we face the onset of a global pandemic. Tonight’s debate is our next best chance to hear directly from the candidates about how they will work to rectify Trump’s horrendous mishandling of this emergency as well as their other plans for our nation’s future.

Whether you’re a Sanders or Biden supporter, or a Warren/Buttigieg/Klobuchar/etc fan deciding who to now support, this race remains the next step in our battle against a larger, shared enemy. Regardless of our possible differences, we still have a shared goal of defeating Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell, of overturning the deeply harmful damage the GOP has caused. And if your state has already voted, there’s still time to a) phone/text bank for your (possibly new) presidential candidate of choice in the states which haven’t yet voted, and b) push BOTH candidates in the direction you want to see them go.

So tune in tonight…but maybe no watch-party this round, because we’re social-distancing now and that’s a very good thing.

Watch tonight’s Democratic debate by tuning into CNN,, Univision, or at 8 pm EST / 5 pm PST.
